Position Overview

We are looking for a persuasive, relationship-driven Senior Account Manager to fuel growth across Gordon Sinclair’s top distributor accounts. This role is for a proactive, consultative seller who thrives on collaboration, spotting opportunities, and creating value beyond the ask.

You’ll partner with leadership to align on strategy, then take the reins — bringing fresh ideas, bold upsell opportunities, and a high sense of urgency to every interaction. The right person combines vision with execution: someone who can stay big-picture while delivering the details that win business and deepen trust.

What You’ll Do

Account Growth & Development

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value distributor accounts with clear revenue targets.

  • Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities — showing customers new ideas, products, and programs that go beyond what they’ve asked for.

  • Drive share-of-wallet by positioning Gordon Sinclair as their go-to, value-added partner.

Sales Process Execution

  • Lead persuasive, high-level conversations with distributor leaders and decision-makers.

  • Be proactive: launch targeted campaigns, bring new ideas to the table, and turn conversations into opportunities.

  • Present creative solutions that show customers how Gordon Sinclair can elevate their client programs.

  • Track opportunities and performance in the CRM, keeping activity visible and results measurable.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Act as a true consultant — anticipating needs, solving challenges, and collaborating at every step.

  • Strengthen relationships with distributor leaders and senior reps by consistently adding value.

  • Partner with leadership on complex deals and long-term account strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of sales or account management experience (promotional products or B2B supplier experience preferred).

  • A proven track record of growing large accounts and building executive-level partnerships.

  • Persuasive communication and presentation skills — confident asking for the business.

  • A proactive, creative mindset with the ability to think big while executing the details.

  • Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven with a high sense of urgency.

  • CRM experience and comfort managing pipelines and sales data.

  • Willingness to travel (8–10x/year) for customer events, trade shows, and key account meetings.
