Position Overview
Build It. Own It. Finish It.
Gordon Sinclair | Promotional Products Supplier
This is not a “manage what exists” marketing role.
This is a build, shape, and elevate the entire function.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in autonomy — someone who doesn’t wait, doesn’t posture, and doesn’t need hand-holding. You see what needs to be built… and you build it — all the way through.
What This Role Really Is
You own marketing. Not pieces of it — all of it.
From brand strategy to trade shows, from distributor tools to product launches — you are the engine that connects product, sales, and story. You operate at a high level, but you’re just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves and executing.
You’re not driven by ego — you’re driven by outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
-
Autonomous & self-directed — you don’t wait for direction, you create it
-
A true starter AND finisher — ideas are meaningless unless they’re executed
-
Proactive by nature — you anticipate needs before they’re spoken
-
Structured thinker — you bring order, process, and clarity
-
Persuasive communicator — you influence across teams and bring people with you
-
Cross-functional operator — you partner seamlessly with Sales, Product, and Operations
-
High standards, high accountability — you own results, not excuses
What You’ll Own
-
Brand & Strategy — define and elevate how Gordon Sinclair shows up in the market
-
Sales Enablement — build tools that help distributor reps win business
-
Product Launches — create campaigns that actually land and drive adoption
-
Digital Presence — ensure visibility across ESP, SAGE, ASI, and beyond
-
Trade Shows & Events — own execution from concept to follow-up
-
Team Leadership — guide design resources and external partners to deliver at a high level
What Success Looks Like
-
Sales reps are equipped, confident, and winning with your tools
-
New product launches create momentum — not noise
-
The brand is consistent, visible, and trusted across the industry
-
Marketing runs with clarity, process, and urgency — without constant oversight
